In the silent night
God came to the earth
so long awaited
will be hailed now
Jesus Christ a little child
was born in Bethlehem
angels said this is
the Son of God
the shepherds heard
the choirs of angels
the sky was bright
God’s open heaven
God came to us
with his love and peace
accept it and believe
now you are Gods child
